The totality of Nigeria’s growth and necessity for education and job opportunities require immediate intervention that a non-governmental organization (NGO) can provide. Thus, the founder, Abidemi K. Adeniji, PhD has formed the Adeniji Foundation of Statistical Science (AFSS) to alleviate poverty-stricken, underemployed, and unemployed students by training them to a globally recognized skill.
The initial training facility will be located in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria with plans for additional facilities throughout Nigeria.
The Foundation’s leaders come from a broad range of professional backgrounds. The leaders act as an entrusted group that maintains and uphold the mission, vision, strategy, values and direction of the AFSS.

He is driven to give back to the community he comes from, of which, brilliance is endemic, but opportunities are scarce. He’s dedicated to giving back to the field of statistical science through research, teaching and connecting with the youth. He is a son of Yorubaland, born in Lagos, Nigeria. He has a doctorate in Biostatistics. He wishes to someday take a joyride in a fighter jet.
AFSS is a nonprofit NGO whose purpose is to deliver a statistical science program that will further Nigeria’s economic growth, priootenritize education, boost job creation, and make Nigeria a global hub for statistical science and data science.
