On November 23, 2023, AFSS celebrated the graduation of its inaugural class of Clinical SAS Programmers.
On November 23, 2023, the Adeniji Foundation of Statistical Science marked a milestone that the Foundation had been building toward since its inaugural lecture in January of the same year: the graduation of its first cohort.
Eight students completed the full six-month program, sat the SAS Base certification examination, and earned certificates of completion at a modest ceremony held at the Bodija facility. The graduating class included Olamide Adeyemo, Olabode Maranroola, Ayotunde Adisa, Adewole Ogunade, Oluwaseun Eyebiokin, Israel Abidoye, Stephanie Ozoalor, and Busayo Akindipe.
Because the Foundation was unable to secure external internships in time for the graduation, the founder, Dr. Abidemi Adeniji, personally absorbed the cohort into a three-month paid internship at M-Estimator LLC. Each intern received a monthly compensation and continued to build a portfolio of production-grade deliverables.
The first cohort has now completed the program. Applications for the next intake are closed while the Foundation raises funds for the second cohort. The next application window will be announced here on this website.
