Phase one: course instruction

Students will receive instruction at the facility located in Old Bodija, Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. Instruction will occur for six (6) hours per day, every business day, over a course of 24 weeks. After completing the initial course of 24 weeks (6 months), students will sit for the SAS Base certification exam.

Attendance is mandatory and will be recorded daily. Students who miss a total of 12 hours during this course instruction phase will be penalised and removed from the program.

Phase two: micro-internship.

In the latter six (6) months, students will receive a micro-internship where they will work on problem sets that will enable them to practice and further comprehend the course materials.

Additional, in the latter 6 months, exceptional students, through self-study, can use the facility to pursue the next certification, the Advanced SAS Programmer certification also at the expense of AFSS.

Micro-Internships are short-term, paid, professional assignments that are like those given to new hires or interns. These projects enable college students and recent graduates to demonstrate skills, explore career paths, and build their networks as they seek the right full-time role. Unlike traditional internships, Micro-Internships vary in length and can take place year-round, ranging from 5 to 40 hours of work.
